  • Hello, and welcome to Beyond Common Business Secrets. I'm your host, Tracey Watts Cirino, your business growth strategist, dedicated to empowering you female business owners and leaders to save 10 h or more every week.
  • Today we're diving into one of the most critical topics for women in business.
  • We're diving into proven strategies for female entrepreneurs to achieve
  • 6. Figure success. I like to look at this is like breaking the glass ceiling on achieving 6. Figure success. So get ready
  • for an episode that is going to be packed with actionable strategies and inspiring stories and insights. So we wanna start 1st with really defining this whole glass ceiling. You may be like me.
  • and have heard this your whole life about the women in the glass ceiling. Right?
  • I
  • how how do we break free from the invisible chains and things that are limiting our growth and potential.
  • So
  • when we dive into the definition and history of this sort of historical context of this.
  • The glass ceiling is a metaphor that describes the invisible barriers that prevent people from advancing
  • to hire positions in an organization.
  • especially in a male dominated corporate hierarchies.
  • The term is often used to describe the difficulties that
  • women and minor minorities face on a day to day basis.
  • and their work and career environment. So I did a little research fun fact. Marilyn Loadan.
  • She was a management consultant and writer. She 1st used the term glass ceiling in 1978, during a panel. Discussion about women's aspirations in the workplace.
  • Isn't that cool? So Lodan described the cultural challenges women face when their careers stagnate
  • a middle management roles. So oftentimes this was preventing them from attaining higher leadership or executive positions.
  • This is when Marilyn Loadan coined this phrase
  • about the glass ceiling. The term was then further popularized in the mid 1980 s.
  • The glass ceiling can
  • exist for a multitude of reasons, though so, including societal expectations of women as caregivers.
  • a lack of encouragement for women to pursue jobs in high-paying fields that we wouldn't think that in 2,024 that this is still going on. But there are still women who are pushing each other down in thinking.
  • If she's you know, if she's gonna be in that position, then I can't do it, and I often encourage all women to be like if she can do it, I can do it. So the more and more women that get to these places of higher level, executive positions, higher level growth in their businesses, the more of us
  • that we get to celebrate and all do it together. So it raises the the glass ceiling or the proverbial bar for all of us. So you wanna look at it through through that lens.
  • because these are really outdated right? Thinking for one moment that you're a woman. So you don't have the right or worthiness to go after a high paying
  • it. Field or industry is absolute
  • trash, like we need to throw it out with yesterday's garbage, right? That is not at all where we need to be. So we need to burn down the stereotypes. And all these outdated perceptions about women as a whole.
  • right? So the current state of women in business. I wanna share this with you. The current state of women in business women owned businesses have grown at a faster rate than ever before, and they've been growing at a faster rate than male owned businesses in just the past few recent years.
  • with the number increasing by 94.3% from 2019 to 2023. This was reported by Forbes. So this is so interesting that this is the the biggest growth that female owned businesses have had right. This is 94.3% of growth from 2,019 to 2,020.
  • So with the employment increasing by such a huge and rapid rate.
  • it literally is defined as 252.8%, and then revenue increasing by 82%. So right now, currently, as of 2024 women own 42% of all businesses in the United States. So this is according to Forbes, this is up from 4.6
  • in 1972, and 1 3rd of businesses worldwide are owned by women. So this is huge growth for us. So there is, so much excitement and celebrating to do in this area. Women-led businesses also have added 510079.6 billion dollars in revenue. which is woohoo right? That's amazing revenue and 1.4 million jobs to the economy during the pandemic.
  • So this is a very important statistics statistic because it forever will change the trajectory of how female
  • entrepreneurs and business leaders and business owners move forward. So this is so critical. However, women are still underrepresented in some major areas of business, such as venture capital and private equity, where women make up only 13% of senior staff.
  • And then this is really interesting in banking. Women make up 53% of all entry level employees, but less than 1 3rd of women are senior vps and C-suite executives
  • and a pew. Research centers. Survey also found that
  • the majority of Americans still believe sexual harassment and other factors make it difficult for women to succeed in top executive positions. So this is still going on at every level that makes it really difficult for women to get ahead. So
  • there isn't the other piece of this like when you. So I I wanna flip this on its head because this is like the corporate side. And you know for a long time we've referred to this as you know, a seat at the boys table, you know, along with the glass ceiling. So here's the thing.
  • I
  • have a background in the beauty and cosmetic industry which is predominantly female. And even in, if you look at, there's an estimated 900,000 salons in the us.
  • but only
  • 20% of those hairstylists earn more than a hundred $1,000 a year
  • right? And
  • and if you really wanna think about making over 6 figures as a hair stylist, as an executive in any type of small business. The number one suggestion is always to master your client experience. You want to take your clients on a journey from beginning to end. This is always going to instill that. You have
  • an award winning business. You get paid more than anybody else that does your job, or that has a business like yours. But the interesting fact is, when you flip this on its head and look at it the other way that
  • in you you take these 2 extremes right in male dominated industries versus an industry like beauty and cosmetics that is primarily female, dominated. The interesting thing is that
  • only 9.3% of hair stylists are men right?
  • The workforce of hair silo. So this was taken from the this is this was taken right out of the statistical studies that the Board of Cosmetology does all the time. So the workforce of hair stylists and hairdressers in
  • cosmologist in 2,022 has it being that 9.3% are men and 90.7% are women.
  • What's interesting, though, is that women in personal care and any other service type of occupations
  • who work full time
  • still make only 90 cents to the dollar earned
  • that men make in 2023. So this is why I'm sharing this interesting fact with you is that 73 out of every weekly paycheck, which means that women are still getting paid, $3,796 less, doing the same job as a man in 2023. So
  • that still is very disturbing to me, because you want to take these major industries and say, Okay, well, women are working entry level positions in banking. So they're getting paid less than the senior executives. But then you have an industry like cosmetology and hairdressing that it's female dominated, and women are still making less than men.
  • So I'm super passionate about empowering women all over the globe to
  • take
  • the reins of your
  • paycheck right of of your career, of what you charge, understand that you are fully worthy
  • of getting paid everything that you deserve. And when you really think about this.
  • this is not to share, like just the doom and gloom side. This. The other side of this is that this wage gap has narrowed by like 16 cents from 2,011. So we are. We are shrinking the gap it used to be, you know, 16 cents greater dollar over dollar about the divide. So it's just interesting to think about like, why is that like, maybe
  • as women, we need to look at.
  • where can we support more women
  • in the people that we choose to do business with. This is very common. When you look at the most successful men, they will always think of somebody they already know who they want to do business with. And oftentimes I feel like women shy away from this. So if you can just think about okay, who can I support? Where do I want to turn. First, st we can continue to work together to shrink this gap even more
  • because another another
  • statistic, according to Forbes, is that
  • less than 2% of all women own businesses
  • generate more than a million dollars in revenue. This is my number one reason for wanting to be a business coach and consultant. This is to teach this
  • th, this this practicality of how we can come together and actually work less and earn more. So this is not about going into hustle culture so that you can achieve these numbers. It's about, how can we work smarter
  • and
  • align our business so that it serves our lives right? So this one, this statistic hits home for me. And this is according to Forbes, that less than 2% of the women own businesses
  • ever hit a million dollars in revenue. So when you look at in comparison, 88% of women owned businesses generate less than a hundred 1,000, which is the 6 figures that we're talking about today.
  • and only 5% generate between
  • a hundred 1,000. 250,000. So to me, the 1st step to having more and more females that produce millions of dollars in their businesses.
  • The 1st step is to bring as many of us as possible into the realm of 6 figures. Right? We first, st we 1st have to hit over
  • a hundred 1,000 and make sure our business is set up in a way that it's truly profitable. So this is the importance of breaking through the glass ceiling. And this is gonna come from lots of mindset shifts for success. Right? It's like overcoming all our our limiting beliefs as a
  • as as a female population. Right? It's really coming up with strategies that allow us to work together and thrive and understand that we are truly worthy of
  • earning this, and so much more than we've ever even thought of or imagined. Yet so it really is tapping into our neurotransmitters and rewiring our brains.
  • chew.
  • focus on what is possible to leave all that Bs and all the stuff that might have been holding us back.
  • even if this was something that we were fed by. You know our mothers, grandmothers, aunts, you know. That's what they knew, but we know better now. So now we're gonna think this through from a different mindset.
  • And this is where developing a growth mindset is really is really important. It's like.
  • if you knew you could not fail, what would you actually do in your business? What is that big, audacious goal that you want to go after right? Wh, where can you grow and get more expansive?
  • And then this is where you can tap into the ta the power of visual visualization. What does it look like to be a millionaire business owner. What does it feel like? Where do you go? Who do you talk to? Who do you help? Who do you promote. So on your climb up.
  • Where are you pulling, you know, like pulling your hand so that you can pull someone up with you? Right? Who are you taking with you?
  • Who is moving up with you?
  • Who can you reach up to for help? That, you know, is gonna catch you when you stumble and fall. This is the point of surrounding yourself with
  • other females that want you to win right, and
  • the more that we realize that the power of visualizing
  • our goals as if we've already achieved them. That is where this truly breaks free to a whole different dimension than you've ever thought of before. So really, really focus on what does it really look like? What? What, maybe, is that
  • that hidden dream that's been so talked away, so deep in your in your heart like you, you really maybe even haven't allowed yourself to explore it. Dig into that like I encourage you to do some journaling, get outside and really ask yourself
  • if I could dream the biggest dream possible for me, my family, my life, my business! What does that look like and envelop that dream. And the next thing is is that when we dive into all these different statistics and everything like that, where can we stand out? You know a lot a lot of women that I talk to, especially when I do a lot of one-to-one coaching. And in our group
  • in our group retreats as well. What happens is that a lot of women share how you know they've been told their whole life not to stand out, not to speak up, to sit quiet. Be the type of woman that agrees because that's going to help you find a mate and be more of the type of person that people want to work with.
  • And and the thing is is that that doesn't serve anymore when it comes to being a leader. This is where men and women have been fed sort of a different story. But now we wanna think about this in a new realm. So
  • in this day and age, no matter what you're doing building a strong personal brand for yourself, like if you're just getting started in business, or maybe you have a big corporate job. But you're starting a side hustle or an extra income stream over on the side. There's some level to what you're doing that has business. Or maybe you've had a really successful business for years and years.
  • but you're thinking that you
  • lost you. You lost your passion for it, and you want to do something different the sooner, no matter which one of those situations that you're in, the sooner that you dive into understanding, that building a strong personal brand for yourself.
  • especially as a female entrepreneur is going to be so important. People are going to resonate with your story more than anything so sharing, where you struggle, sharing things that you've overcome sharing, you know, like I used to share this story all the time, like when I was. I think I was 19, and they asked me if I could go and teach a bunch of sales, represent sales representatives
  • how to speak the language that would resonate with different salon owners. And here's across across the globe because they didn't they? They wanted to know more about how I was having such a high
  • Sales Commission, for you know, products and serving my clients like, I think it was like 35, or 40% that I was doing at the time. And statistically, those are really high numbers when it's called your retail to service percentage.
  • And I remember I got so nervous because I was like, Oh, I have to go talk to all these men. I was like an 18 year old girl. I remember saying to my mom, like I need a business suit or something like that in a briefcase. So I kind of felt like I needed to get into character. But here's the thing. When I went in there trying to be something that I wasn't like trying to
  • talk to them the way they talk to each other.
  • I did not get any traction. I actually ended up running to the elevator.
  • bawling my eyes out, and even though I heard people calling my name, I just did not want them to see me crying. I just ran right
  • because we were taught that you're not allowed to cry.
  • People won't take you seriously in business. So
  • when I look back on this, that's like the story of
  • when you show up as who you are, and just share the story of what you've achieved. That's what I did the next month. When I went back there, I said, Hey, I'm not sure what you're really looking for. For coaching, all of you, you know. Suits in. Say, that are sales reps all over the country like you already know how to do your job. This is what I do in the language I use.
  • because it simplifies it. And I and I stopped trying to talk the jargon, and that's what worked to continually grow and and make people use a clearer, more communicative, communicative language instead of trying to make it so fancy
  • so
  • these are stories that you know we all have. So think about what yours are, and start sharing them because nobody does business the way you do. And this is what really helps you create a compelling brand story. This is
  • an area where you can really leverage social media and grow your online presence. And I promise you, is somebody that's been doing this a really long time. There are days that nobody comments, nobody comments. It's absolute crickets that sometimes I still want to cry and say, does anyone care? Is anyone listening?
  • And then here's what
  • somebody will. Message, me call me email me
  • and say, Oh, that podcast you did, Tracy, that
  • stuck with me so much. I tried these 3 things that that you were talking about in episode. You know those, how many an episode that it was. And it really made a difference and impacted my life.
  • I I get this one a lot. You know, I started really keeping track of where I am profitable. And I really realized I can start
  • doing more of the things I love that are also profitable, and stop doing a bunch of stuff that I don't need to, so that makes my heart sing. That makes me so excited that I was able to impact one person with one idea and strategy that made the world of difference. So I encourage you.
  • share these things and
  • continue to share them, because even if it doesn't look like people are
  • are listening and showing up. I promise you they are, and eventually it will come out like I will run into people at the grocery store. That will share something I said 5, 10 years ago that really impacted them.
  • And it'll be right in the moment that I needed to hear it, because I was just questioning like, Oh, I thought that was going to be a great.
  • a great episode.
  • and instead of having thousands of downloads. We had a hundred
  • where I have to walk myself back and say, Oh, my goodness! That's a hundred humans, and I am so grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you. Thank you for continuing to share beyond common business secrets. Thank you for continuing to share your wins, your successes, your struggles all the things with us, so that we can continue to serve you
  • at such a deeper level. So
  • sometimes you just don't know these things. And this is true for everybody. So really think that through
  • another thing that is so important for how you can get to this 6 figures is networking and mentorship. So you really want the role of networking to be so important in your life. This is one of the biggest keys to business growth.
  • It is not a cheesy saying, it is absolute truth. And we've done a bunch of other podcast, episodes about this. But your network is reflective of your net worth.
  • So the more that you get out. And even when you don't feel like it, the more you share what you're going through and what struggles you're having and and ask for help.
  • The the more your net worth is gonna grow. So know that it's so important. The other thing is, make sure you're very particular about finding and leveraging mentors. You want to work with people that you know, like trust and respect.
  • and that
  • you want what they have.
  • I often say that
  • there's so many people that are so willing to criticize and give advice.
  • But they haven't done anything. So don't listen to those people.
  • Listen to people that have gone where you want to go. Those are the mentors. Don't listen to people that are scared and just projecting more of their fears onto you. They're afraid to try themselves. So you trying. It is
  • making them nervous and and sort of like. It's a projection of their own fear, and how they're feeling inadequate. So that don't take that advice has nothing to do with you. Understand that
  • the way to shrink the gap and get to that 1st victory of
  • earning 6 figures or more.
  • And then beyond is to really think about
  • who the right mentors, business coaches and really not working with people that are gonna help hold you able, hold you accountable and help like raise you up. So you want to surround yourself. And if you don't have this already, you need to build a supportive community. Because I promise you, friend, even if you right now have nobody around you
  • that you think cares nobody that's done what you want to do, I promise you. In this day and age somebody has done it. Somebody has done it, even if it's just one person, and if you put out there that you're looking for them, I promise the universe will provide will deliver every single time.
  • So
  • another big piece where things kinda can go off kilter for female business owners and leaders is
  • financial literacy and management. So the importance of financial literacy. I cannot tell you how much I wish I knew
  • so much more about this when I was 1st getting started in business, and even as I know more, it's still like there's emotional parts of our brain that make us make really crazy sometimes not very intelligent financial decisions. So
  • I have been guilty of this time and time again. So what I would tell you is that
  • when you're looking at this through the lens of
  • strategies for managing business finances, you need to hire an expert that is much smarter than you are in this area, but you also have to understand that if you're growing a business for profit sometimes our accountants and people like that.
  • Their only really role is to make sure you look good to the Irs. So they're not always the best advisors for actually growing a business. They're just like sort of the number counters. So be strategic and get the right help
  • and expert support that you need, because this is an area where you know I have grown so much, and I will never stop learning. You know, it's like financial literacy is so important to me more than ever right now, because, you know, in the beginning I didn't understand
  • how to leverage debt for growth. Then I had way, too much debt, and I like it's like, how do you dig your way out of that? So there! There's just been so many different
  • plays on this back and forth. But I want to give you some very, very real statistics. So right now, right now, as we speak as we're recording this episode.
  • there are over 65% of small businesses
  • operating
  • that were profitable
  • in 2022.
  • So this is very exciting news, since in 2018 the same study showed that only 40% of small businesses were profitable. So you can see, that's like a 25% growth.
  • So meanwhile, there's still 35% of businesses that are just cash flowing. They're not even profitable.
  • and they may not even know it.
  • So when we look at this, and this is a study from the small business administration. So in the Us we have something called the small business administration.
  • And they talk about how 20% of small businesses fail within the 1st year.
  • And then the Us. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that less than 80% of small businesses will survive their 1st year. So these 2 statistics are very much in line, and then, when you fast forward to
  • you know, 5 years, 5 years after you 1st open your business over half of all small businesses fail
  • in the 1st 5 years, so
  • over 50% of small businesses will fail in their 1st 5 years of operating. So this is super important. The
  • fastest way
  • that we can get you to. Truly being profitable like, remember that first, st that 1st peg on the ladder is hitting a hundred 1,000 right? Then the next one is absolute profitability, so that you can go to the next percentage of people that are between the 100,250. Right?
  • Once you master those 2 pegs, then we can go on to becoming
  • 1 million dollar revenue producers. You know that
  • that are female business owners and leaders like this is a big trend, a big push that we would love to see this number climb more and more
  • so
  • the next. The next part of this is that
  • when you go further down the road
  • it's reported that over 70% of all small businesses will fail before their 10th year of operating.
  • So this, this this is, goes back to the statistics of making sure you're surrounding yourself with support of mentors, coaches, people that can guide you, that you're growing a network of people that can support you, because
  • being a small business owner is not for the faint of heart. Right? It's like it's not about these Instagram posts, where people are always making it like, oh, so glamorous! Standing by an expensive car, getting on a jet and posting pictures at the beach.
  • There's so much work behind the scenes, and it is not for the faint of heart
  • that that sometimes we're starting
  • our our business at day one. But we're comparing it to something that has been seeds in the making for 20 years of someone's family business. So you you want to be comparing
  • apples to apples, find somebody that's actually done
  • what you want to do, and figure out where you are
  • based on where they started and leverage it. From there you cannot compare your day, one to their day, 10,021. There's a different gap here. So really, really think that through because I will often ask this when I'm speaking on stage, it's like, Okay.
  • by a show of hands who wants to be one of
  • the 30% of
  • business owners that are truly successful.
  • truly profitable, and still standing by year. 10. Right? It's like everybody in the room raises their hand. So what decisions are you making right now that or that are gonna lead to you being one of
  • the businesses that are still standing right? What decisions can you make now that will positively impact your today and your future.
  • So
  • so really thinking quick when you really want to think about maximizing your profits, it's really about finding that one thing in your business that you do so well, and doing more of it. Oftentimes I'll find people that
  • we'll be like. Oh, well, we're already good over here. So we're gonna start going over here. And if you do that before you hit that $100,000 mark
  • you dilute everything it it has been my experience. It does not matter what industry this is true across the board you want to continue to double down on what you're good at and what people want to pay you for before you start diversifying.
  • So really, really be clear about that.
  • even though it might get boring for a minute. It's like.
  • Sometimes you just have to picture yourself, you know, making deposits through that boring phase. Another thing that is is really useful is setting up effective marketing strategies. So you want to make sure, when it comes to your marketing that you're identifying and targeting your ideal audience. You don't wanna be marketing your products and services to clients that you don't even want to serve.
  • That is such a pro. I see this so often, if that is not the audience that you want to serve. Why are you marking to them? Because some Guru said it somewhere, if it's not in alignment with who you are and what you want to do in your business, stop doing it and do more of what is in alignment and who you do want to serve.
  • You also want to create a marketing plan that works for you, not
  • something that's so aspirational that you feel that you're like missing the mark every single day. Right? So the more that you can create stretch goals within your marketing plan. But it has to be something effective that works for you and your team.
  • This is an area that you know, we end up doing a lot of copywriting for our business owner clients, because that's an area of struggle. It's just doing the writing so that aligns. And it actually sounds like you. And this is something so often that
  • I am personally really good at for my clients, and I have to hire out for it when it comes to doing that for myself or like for our business. So know that even if it's your area of expertise. Sometimes it's a struggle to do it yourself, and there is no shame in hiring out for it. It's 1 of the number one things I get hired to do, and I love it so it's it's all good. It's really funny, though, when you look at it through this lens.
  • and then, when it comes to utilizing your content, marketing you and SEO, you want to have a strategy
  • that helps
  • everything fuel each other right like. So every you should be looking at your content, strategy and SEO as something that you can repurpose and build upon, repurpose, and build upon.
  • It should never feel like a burden, or like these one offs, it should be like, you're building a strategic building. That's gonna have a strong foundation that's gonna continue to grow. And it's gonna continue to support you in your business and the sales in your business all the time. So think of it that way, because we really want to make sure you're absolutely profitable and hitting your 1st 6 figures
  • before you even think about scaling right? Like. These are things that we need to get in place, and make sure you find a winning formula for your business, for your industry, and really get
  • things moving and grooving so you can be growing strong
  • and putting some ease and breath into it for you.
  • that once that happens, then you can start effectively.
  • Doing strategies for
  • for for scaling. I see so many entrepreneurs that have been in business less than a year aren't even making enough money to survive. And they're talking about scaling.
  • Well, you're gonna actually lose money if you you know what I'm saying, you definitely wanna hire people before you need them. But you don't wanna burn everything out that you won't have anything left. And I'm super passionate about this, because even though we get to this point as creative entrepreneurs that we don't wanna be like the operator doing the service or doing the fulfillment of you know our online business.
  • There are things that you must do until you hit certain revenue benchmarks, and every industry is different. So these are reasons why it's really great to have a business coach and consultant that can walk you through for you, for your industry, for your personal bandwidth, for what your goals are for your business. These are all so so important to your growth and your overall
  • happiness. Revenue generation. You know
  • more and more. People that are super profitable in their business are more and more joyful and happy. I don't know if there's a trend there. But you know you could read between the lines on that one. Right? So think about that.
  • Scaling is so important. But don't. Don't miss a bunch of steps on your way there. Another thing is that
  • there are a lot of obstacles, right that we need to overcome as female business owners. So, knowing what common challenges and obstacles are coming your way, and you can't plan for everything. But you can have a contingency plan. If this happens, I'll do that
  • now. There's no way to have a crystal ball that you're gonna know everything. But there are some things that you can just be prepared for, like.
  • you know, I can look back and say we had no idea
  • what was gonna happen with having, you know, a global pandemic across the globe. But we did did have a lot of security system strategies, virtual like, we had a lot of things that really worked
  • in our business, that we're really good systems. So we were able to go into a mode that we really served our staff and served our clients, and though I'm in a totally different industry now, and everything has changed. I wouldn't change those preparation that we had because we were able to
  • bring a community together and serve people from
  • such a deep relationship level, which was exactly what was necessary during those times. So you may not. We're not gonna know what's coming. We never know what's coming, you know. And but the thing is is that with some foresight, with some thoughtful consideration, even really tapping into your own personal intuition, you can create systems and strategies that will help you
  • be flexible
  • and navigating some obstacles, you know, like it's so so important, so
  • it. And the more you want to dive into tips for resilience and preservate. It's like really protecting your
  • mental, your mental health, your spiritual health, your emotional well-being, is so important because your business is never gonna do better than you are doing, mentally, physically, emotionally, as the business owner. So know that you, taking care of yourself and doing things for self love and care and preservation is actually such a gift to your business. It's not selfish, it's self love.
  • So we have a guide that's all about self. Love and care. I'll include that in the show notes. It's it's it's a way to make sure you're taking care of yourself during this process, because the path from 0 to 6 figures does not happen overnight, even though every single real on Instagram might tell you so right now.
  • someone might hit this really fast, but I promise you they were doing a lot of work behind the scenes before. So anything you can do to prep it, and learning new ways and strategies to include self, love and care. Even as your business grows and starts to thrive and flourish. You want to have this built in, to how you take care of yourself.
  • So so important.
  • And then the area of
  • people are always talking about balancing work and professional life. Now.
  • I'm always teaching people strategies for maintaining work-life harmony. But to me balance is Bs right.
  • When we start chasing this proverbial balance, we actually lose sight of the harmony that we really want. There are times in your life that you're going to have to do a lot more family stuff because your kids need you.
  • and maybe some of your business goals get pushed on the back burner for a hot minute. Because what's most important.
  • your family? This is why you have a business to thrive and feed and survive as a family.
  • The other piece is that other times everything's gonna be functioning better in your family. You're gonna have help and support there. So you're gonna be in a phase of your business where it really requires more of you. You're going to be putting in longer hours. You're gonna be doing stuff.
  • You want to be creating the perfect harmony for you.
  • Right? These are one of the areas that is really great to work with the business coach on.
  • or life coach whatever works for you, but really setting up strategies that allow you to figure out what harmony works best for you, because your business needs to serve your life. You are not a servant to your business, and you do not want to become a slave to your business, and speak it as spoken from the heart, from somebody who has made that mistake more than once in different businesses.
  • I that is a vow I made of. Why, I want to teach other female business owners and entrepreneurs not to do that right. It's so important that you structure your business to serve your life
  • so that
  • it is improving your quality of life. Not so. It is a slow.
  • slow death march to burnout and burn, burning out, dying right like, we do not want that. So
  • really, really think through that.
  • And again,
  • grab the self love and care guide that will really really help you think through some of the self love and care ideas that that can help you really preserve your mental, emotional, physical, spiritual well-being. So it's really important.
  • So I know this was a lot right like this was a lot, and we're always giving you more and more time management, you know, tips and strategies to save time. But know that
  • if we're chasing balance it's gonna feel like elusive. We're pushing it away. So borrow this.
  • Think of it from the realm of harmony get excited about harmony that you know it's not like the sun and the moon both shine at the same time. Right? The sun is shining there bright, and the moon is chilling because it's not their time right? It's the same thing. The moon is going to shine bright, and the sun's going to take a nap because it's not their time right now, so don't think it all has to be same Z, and balance, because
  • we need to let parts of our life shine bright when it's in alignment and when it's the time.
  • So think it through that way.
  • And
  • when you want to think about this. It's like
  • when it comes to. What's the 1st ping of the ladder to get me to that? 6 figures that $100,000! What is the one service product, whatever it is that is most profitable for us that people are requesting the most.
  • no matter what that is, double down on that, and that is, gonna get you there faster than anything else. So I encourage you to go through this, listen to this podcast again, if you you know, need to take notes and write it down there. We have delivered so many actionable steps.
